Installation Requirements

HEALTH & SAFETY The Installer is responsible for ensuring that its working practice complies with all current Health & Safety Regulations covering installation operatives, building occupants and the general public. The specifier/end user should indicate prior to commencement of the installation work any specific or local Health & Safety Requirements that may apply. WORK PLANNING The Installer will provide work programmes that are planned in accordance with the end users requirements in order to minimise disruption to the building use and its occupants. SITE RESOURCES The only on-site resources required is access to water and limited waste disposal. The elimination of dust contamination during the installation is essential, and windows and doors should be kept closed wherever possible, and no dust or particulate producing trades should work within the same area. The reduction of dust or particle contamination will allow for a high quality installation. TRANSPORTATION, HANDLING AND STORAGE The Installer will transport and handle all rolls of film in the approved manner in order to avoid any damage to the film. At the Work Planning stage the Installer may indicate the requirement for temporary use of a secure and dry materials storage room. |
